Daniel 11:10
But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress. But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his fortress.
This text belongs to the prophecy of Daniel 11, which stands within the wonderful prophecies of Daniel 7-12 given to reveal the mysteries of ages to come. Even Daniel himself did not fully understand it, for its words were shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Full understanding is reserved for the closing period of this world's history, when Daniel will rest and then stand again in his lot and place at the end of the days. The prophecy to which this text belongs has nearly reached its complete and final fulfillment, being almost completely fulfilled.
Its fulfillment comes as the world is stirred by the spirit of war. Growing trouble among the nations marks its setting, as the time of trouble draws near the end. The foretold scenes of trouble are soon to take place.
