Daniel 11:12
And when he hath taken away the multitude, his heart shall be lifted up; and he shall cast down many ten thousands: but he shall not be strengthened by it. This text belongs to the wonderful prophecies recorded in Daniel 7-12, given to Daniel as God's ambassador as revelations of the mysteries of ages to come. Even Daniel himself did not fully understand it, for its words were shut up and sealed until the time of the end. With it comes the blessed assurance that at the end of the days, in the closing period of this world's history, Daniel would rest and then stand again in his lot and place. Its fulfillment was nearly complete, with further scenes of trouble still expected soon.
