Daniel 11:20

Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.

Daniel 11:20 belongs to the wonderful prophecies recorded in Daniel 7-12, given to Daniel as God's ambassador as revelations of the mysteries of ages to come. It was not fully understood even by Daniel himself, and was ordered to be shut up and sealed even to the time of the end. Its full meaning belongs to the closing period of this world's history, when at the end of the days Daniel will again stand in his lot and place after resting till the end. Its fulfillment is nearly complete, and its approaching fulfillment is associated with coming scenes of trouble.
