Daniel 11:23

And after the league made with him he shall work deceitfully: for he shall come up, and shall become strong with a small people.

The verse is part of the revelations of the mysteries of ages to come given to Daniel as God's ambassador and recorded in Daniel 7-12. Its full meaning was not understood even by Daniel himself, and it was not given to be fully understood when it was revealed. It was shut up and sealed until the time of the end, and in the closing period of this world's history it is to be unsealed. Daniel was given assurance that he would rest and stand in his lot and place at the end of the days.

It belongs to a prophecy whose fulfillment is nearly complete and whose final fulfilment is nearly reached, pointing to soon-coming scenes of trouble and end-time events associated with the approaching time of trouble. In 1910 its prophecy was nearly complete in fulfillment, associated with the approaching final crisis and the spirit of war stirring the world.
