Daniel 11:26
Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his army shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain.
Daniel 11:26 stands within a line of prophecy whose fulfillment had advanced until it was nearly complete. Its place is not isolated but set among surrounding scenes that together mark the closing portion of that predicted history. Those surrounding scenes point forward to coming trouble, showing distress to follow the events described. That trouble was to arise at a time when the world is stirred by war, with nations in conflict and unrest spreading abroad.
