Daniel 11:37
Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.
The text stands within the prophecies of Daniel 11, which belong among the wonderful revelations of Daniel 7-12 concerning the mysteries of the ages to come. Even Daniel himself did not fully understand what was thus revealed. The words were to be shut up and sealed until the time of the end.
That prophecy is nearing its final and complete fulfillment, having almost reached its full accomplishment. Its fulfillment stands close beside the foretold scenes of worldwide trouble, which are soon to take place. At the end of the days, in the closing period of this world's history, Daniel himself is to rest and then stand again in his appointed lot and place.
