Daniel 11:6
And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king’s daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement: but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times.
This verse is part of the wonderful prophecies of Daniel 7-12 entrusted to Daniel as God's ambassador to unveil the mysteries of ages to come. Even Daniel himself did not fully understand it, for it was shut up and sealed until the time of the end. It belongs to the closing period of this world's history and concerns the very time now being lived, and therefore it demands special attention. It is to be unsealed in the latter days, when the wise shall understand it.
The prophecy to which it belongs has almost reached complete fulfillment. The world is stirred by war, and its foretold scenes of trouble will soon take place. Special blessing attends its study together with the teachings of Revelation. Daniel himself received the blessed assurance that he would rest and stand in his lot and place at the end of the days.
