Deuteronomy 13:3
Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Do not give ear to the words of any prophet or dreamer of dreams who would draw people away from God. Faithfulness when such voices arise is shown by obedience to His commandments, which thus stand as the test of character. By this prohibition God proves His people, to reveal whether they love Him with all their heart and with all their soul. That testing obedience includes the Sabbath commandment within the commandments to be kept. Keeping the Father's commandments as Christ kept them is the pattern for obedience from the heart.
