Deuteronomy 23:18
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God. The prohibition reaches any institution joined to sacred work, requiring it to be kept pure because of that connection. Such a place must be freed from sexual impurity as defiling to its holy purpose. It must also be cleansed of corrupting influences of every kind that would undermine its moral integrity. Maintaining that freedom from impurity and corruption belongs to faithfulness in work done for God.
