Deuteronomy 9:7

Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD.

Deuteronomy 9:7 belongs to the instruction found in Deuteronomy 9-12 which Moses was charged to repeat to Israel so that not one member of the nation would remain ignorant of duty. That charge made plain rehearsal of past rebellion and of divine requirements an obligation laid upon the whole congregation without exception. The same obligation rests upon every person today to learn the importance of those lessons. It calls each one to live by every word of God and to express those heavenly principles in all that is done and said.
