Ecclesiastes 4:3

Those who have died are better off than the living because they no longer look upon the evil work that is carried on under the sun. They are spared the sight of oppression and wrongdoing that still burdens those who remain alive. This brings comfort when a faithful Christian passes away and is laid to rest. Such a one rests quietly in the grave, awaiting the Master's call to awaken.
