Esther 2:9
And the maiden pleased him, and she obtained kindness of him; and he speedily gave her her things for purification, with such things as belonged to her, and seven maidens, which were meet to be given her, out of the king’s house: and he preferred her and her maids unto the best place of the house of the women.
Esther pleased Hegai, the keeper of the women, and obtained kindness from him. He acted speedily to give her provisions for purification together with what belonged to her. He also gave her seven chosen maidens out of the king's house who were suitable to be given to her. He advanced her and her maids to the best place of the house of the women.
That favor continued until she obtained favor in the sight of all who looked upon her. The king loved her above all the women and above all the virgins. He set the royal crown upon her head and made her queen instead of Vashti. He then made Esther's feast for his princes and servants, with release to the provinces and gifts according to the state of the king.
Through all this she had not yet showed her people nor her kindred. She was keeping Mordecai's charge in this concealment. She did his command just as when she was brought up by him.
