Esther Presents the King's Letter to Ahasuerusby CBPepper

Esther 9:25

But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised against the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.

After Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that the wicked device devised against the Jews should return upon its deviser's own head. That command directed that Haman and his sons should be hanged on the gallows prepared for the Jews. The turning back of Haman's scheme upon himself shows how the deliverance was accomplished through the king's counter-decree. This reversal demonstrates that God protected His people by causing the plots of their enemies to fall back upon their own heads.
