Exodus 11:3

And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.

This declaration belongs to the time of the final plague, when judgment was to reveal Jehovah as the true God and to bring about Israel's deliverance from Egypt. At that moment Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, meaning he was greatly respected and regarded with awe in the sight of Pharaoh's servants and in the sight of the people. That awe rested on the belief that he alone had power to remove the plagues. Because of that standing Pharaoh dared not harm him. While the Egyptian people wanted the Israelites to be allowed to leave, only the king and the priests continued to oppose Moses' demands.
