Exodus 13:5
And it shall be when the LORD shall bring thee into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, that thou shalt keep this service in this month.
Exodus 13:5 belongs to the history of deliverance from Egypt and the journey toward the land sworn to the fathers for their inheritance. Its promise assumes that the Lord Himself would bring His people into the country of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites. The chapter in which it stands is part of the account of God's wonderful works for Israel.
