Exodus 25:26

And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof.

The four gold rings belong to the directions for making the table of showbread for the holy place, the first apartment of the sanctuary. In the earthly tabernacle that table stood on the north side of the holy place. It was overlaid with pure gold. It was finished round about with an ornamental crown. Each Sabbath the priests set twelve cakes upon it in two piles and sprinkled them with frankincense.

A real table of shewbread stands in the first apartment of the heavenly sanctuary, together with the candlestick with seven lamps and the altar of incense. All the furniture in that heavenly apartment appears as purest gold and reflects the image of the one who enters there. The detail about the rings itself gives no explanation of the rings or their use.
