Exodus 28:13

And thou shalt make ouches of gold;

The verse belongs to God's special detailed directions to Moses about everything connected with His service, specifying the style of dress for the garments of the priests who ministered before Him in the tabernacle holy place. Those directions required that priestly apparel be made carefully and orderly, maintaining order in everything and especially preserving cleanliness.

Aaron's robes were symbolic, showing that God has a preference concerning the dress of those who serve Him and that the dress of Christ's followers should symbolize their representation of Him. God may be honored or dishonored by the apparel of those who officiate before Him. Care in sacred dress helped teach the people that God is holy and His service is sacred.

The description of the high priest's garments is reflected in Jesus' heavenly ministration, where He wears a breastplate suspended from His shoulders, glittering like diamonds and displaying what look like engraved names.
