Exodus 29:1

And this is the thing that thou shalt do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest’s office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,

The charge to hallow Aaron and his sons for priestly ministry came from the lips of Jesus Christ Himself as He educated His church in the wilderness. It was the teaching of the great I AM, given in person to Israel on their journey. What was spoken there in Exodus 29 was not confined to that generation, for it displays God's covenant with the people He is seeking to save today.

That covenant instruction states the terms of salvation, making plain what God requires and what He provides in setting apart a people to minister to Him. For this reason it belongs to the education of most value today, the higher education that trains the mind. That higher education habituates the mind to dwell upon God and to observe Him, keeping Him continually before the thoughts.
