A portion of the specially prepared incense was to be beaten very small, ground into a very fine powder. That finely ground portion was to be put before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation. The placing before the testimony located it where God would meet with His people. The incense set apart for this use was most holy. As most holy it was not to be treated as common.
