Priests Prepare Incense, Garments and Offeringsby KalebRosendahl

Exodus 30:37

And as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the LORD.

The perfume prepared for the tabernacle was not to be made for ordinary personal use according to its prescribed composition. It was to be kept holy for the Lord, reserved wholly for His sacred purpose. What God has set apart as sacred must not be treated as common. This distinction between the holy and the common is one His people are to observe with care.
