Exodus 36:19

And he made a covering for the tent of rams’ skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers’ skins above that.

The building of the earthly tabernacle, down to its coverings of rams' skins dyed red and of badgers' skins above, was done under a divine requirement of exactness in every detail. The work called for skill and wisdom as well as outward correctness, so that nothing was careless or inferior. Perfection was the standard, measured not by human judgment but by conformity to the pattern shown to Moses on the mount. That same requirement of exact, skillful, wise, and perfect work extends to every kind of work performed in God's service.
