Exodus 37:12

Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.

The verse describes one of the vessels of solid gold that God instructed Moses to make to adorn the sanctuary of the tabernacle. Its border of a handbreadth round about, finished with a crown of gold around it, belonged to that skillful work carried out under divine direction. The metalwork for such vessels was accomplished by skillful men, while women wrought embroidery in silver and gold with great ingenuity.
