The sacred crown included a plate fashioned from pure gold and engraved with permanent clarity like a seal-cut signet, proclaiming consecration to God, and it was worn by the high priest. That inscription provides a fitting motto for laborers in every department of effort. Both avowedly religious service and ordinary business life are to carry the signature of heaven. All who labor for God are therefore to press toward perfection and to stand complete in Christ.
