Ezekiel 1:22
And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above. And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
The living creatures, wheels, symbols and movements in this vision look intricate, confusing and bewildering to human eyes and hard to explain. Above the living creatures and the bewildering movements below them is a heavenly order under God's control. God's infinite wisdom is at work among them to bring perfect order and harmony to every part of His work. Every part works in its proper place and every wheel moves in harmony with the rest.
Heaven is closely connected with events on earth. God is revealed as the Ruler who holds coming events, the destiny of nations, and the concerns of His church in His care. The vision was given to teach faith in Israel's mighty God. His servants can therefore trust Him in times of crisis.
