As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
The wheels belong to a vision of wheels and living creatures that appears intricate and difficult to understand. They are living wheels of God's chariot that utter a cry of holiness as the chariot rolls upward. God by His Spirit and by His hand moves and directs the wheels.
Under that direction He brings perfect order and harmonious working out of confusion into all the operations of the instruments He has prepared, with each wheel working in harmony with the others. The vision shows that the whole world is under God's control. At God's word myriads of glorified beings stand ready to overrule the power and plans of evil people and bring good to His faithful ones. It teaches that God's work is not to be controlled by human beings trusting their own power and plans, but is to be carried forward by people who do their duty while trusting God as their instructor.
