Ezekiel 10:16
And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
The chapter to which this description belongs presents God establishing perfect order in the activity of His appointed agents. The cherubim and the wheels advancing together and remaining beside one another when lifted from the earth display complete unity of movement without separation or disorder. Their coordinated action makes harmonious cooperation the defining character of all agencies working under divine direction.
