Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
Foolish prophets are those who follow their own spirit instead of God's truth and who have seen nothing in genuine vision. They claim spiritual guidance while receiving no true revelation, speaking from themselves rather than from God. When questioned about the seventh-day Sabbath, such false shepherds lead people into fables, evade the truth, and shift their positions rather than accept its conclusions. They refuse to stand firm for what Scripture plainly teaches, choosing evasion and changeability over obedience. Nor do they defend God's people or prepare them to stand in the day of the Lord.
