Ezekiel 21:32
Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it. Thou shalt be for fuel to the fire; thy blood shall be in the midst of the land; thou shalt be no more remembered: for I the LORD have spoken it.
Ezekiel 21:32 belongs to Ezekiel's prophecies pleading with Israel to turn to God. The judgment it declares is the harvest of the wrongdoing that brought Israel's dispersion and troubles. That wrongdoing included idolatry and Sabbath desecration. The verse points out the destruction of the kingdom of Judah and the change in human dominion.
Three more overturnings were still to take place, by Medo-Persia, by Grecia, and by Rome, and then Christ would come and the kingdom would be His. The kingdoms on all sides of Israel are used to illustrate how God has brought down their pride and will bring down the pride of those who still remain. The verse is also directed against Egypt, declaring the certain fate of Pharaoh and his host to be destroyed and forgotten, because the Lord has spoken it.
