Ezekiel 3:13
I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing. I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.
The sound heard was that of the wings of the living creatures touching one another, with the wheels standing beside them, together making a great rushing noise as the Spirit lifted and carried away. It belongs to the instruction given in Ezekiel 2 and 3, which is to be brought before the people because it applies to those who have set themselves decidedly against the Lord's messages. It shows that the Lord will deal with His people in the present time as He dealt with them in the past.
Though the wheels and living beings appear intricate, complex, confusing, and beyond human understanding, they move in perfect order and harmony under God's direction, revealing His infinite wisdom. The chapter teaches workers to depend wholly on God as their instructor while faithfully doing their appointed part, for God uses human agents but the glory for the work belongs to Him alone. God directs the work, and human workers must depend on Him rather than seeking power or control for themselves.
