Ezekiel 3:14

So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

The verse stands at the close of the instruction given to Ezekiel, after he was commanded to eat the roll and to speak God's words to the house of Israel whether they would hear or forbear. That closing moment came amid a voice of great rushing blessing the glory of the Lord, with the noise of the wings of the living creatures and the wheels. The Spirit then lifted Ezekiel up and carried him away to deliver God's message.

He went in bitterness and in the heat of his spirit, feeling bitter and deeply stirred within even while he was being carried. At the same time the hand of the Lord was strong upon him, sustaining and directing him in his prophetic mission. The chapter is to be carefully studied as a lesson in depending fully and wholly on God while serving as an instrument in His work.

That dependence means trusting God rather than relying on human direction and control. The verse belongs to the Scriptures to be brought before the people, applying to those who have set themselves decidedly against the Lord's messages. It shows that the Lord will deal with His people at the present time as He dealt with them in the past.
