Ezekiel 3:24

Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.

Ezekiel 3 teaches that those called to do God's work must depend wholly upon Him while faithfully carrying out the task assigned to them. The servant stands under divine instruction, learning from God Himself how the work is to be done. God accomplishes His purposes through human agents, yet He so orders the work that no worker finds in it any ground for self-glory. All ability and direction come from Him, and all honor for the result belongs to Him.
