Ezekiel 30:25
But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.
God will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon while letting the arms of Pharaoh fall, so that Babylonian power stands firm while Egyptian power fails. By putting His own sword into the hand of the king of Babylon to stretch it out over the land of Egypt, He makes Babylon the agent to carry out His judgment against Egypt. Through that defeat at Babylon's hand, the people of Egypt will be brought to know that He is the LORD.
