Ezekiel 32:5

And I will lay thy flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with thy height.

Ezekiel 32:5 is part of God's judgment oracle and prophecy against Egypt.
It is directed against Pharaoh of Egypt and his host.
It stands among the predictions describing Egypt's future and its later condition.

Its imagery pictures Egypt's fallen greatness and defeated people as lying scattered upon the mountains and filling the valleys.
In the same picture Pharaoh's fallen host and the dead Pharaoh's remains are strewn across the mountains and fill the valleys in defeat.
The surrounding chapter sets those dead in the depths of the earth in contrast with the land of the living, thus presenting hades as the realm of the dead.

In this prophecy Egypt is portrayed as an oppressor of God's people and as a symbol of black infidelity.
The prophecy declares the certain doom and fate of Pharaoh and his host.
It says Egypt will be brought low and abased, never to rise again among the nations.
Egypt's foretold decline and later condition and history were literally and accurately fulfilled.
