Ezekiel 35:8
And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword. And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in thy hills, and in thy valleys, and in all thy rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
Ezekiel 35:8 belongs to a prophecy against Seir, that is, Edom. It predicts Edom's complete defeat, with its slain lying throughout its mountains, hills, valleys, and rivers. The chapter containing it is appealed to in support of the return of the Jews, the reign of Christ, and the inheritance of the saints on earth, against the teaching that the saints are taken to heaven at the second coming while the earth is left desolate.
