Ezekiel 36:37
Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock. Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.
After cleansing Israel from its iniquities, the house of Israel will yet ask God to bring about the restoration He has promised. He will do for His people what He has promised to do only when He is inquired of and sought in prayer and asking.
The answer will be to increase them with men like a flock, multiplying their numbers until the restored land and the ruined cities are inhabited and filled with people, like flocks gathered for Jerusalem's feasts. Then the surrounding nations will recognize that the Lord has rebuilt what was ruined. Against sin and Satan help has been provided in the grace of Christ, but it must be sought by asking, with even two or three claiming the promise together in Christ's name, and He will do it, working for feeble people rather than leaving them to stand in independence. The Lord is also to be sought for direction, so that His people ask where their entrusted resources can best advance His work, especially in fields that have not yet been served.
