The vision moves toward the south where a gate facing southward comes into view. A man with a measuring reed measures its posts and its arches, taking each dimension by those same measures used throughout the temple. The gates and the other parts of the temple are all recorded in detail, with nothing left unmeasured. That careful measuring shows the divine standard to be exact, reaching down to even the smallest particulars.
