Ezekiel 40:27
And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits. And there was a gate in the inner court toward the south: and he measured from gate to gate toward the south an hundred cubits.
The hundred cubits measured from gate to gate toward the south in the inner court is one exact detail of God's measurement of His house, taken with the reed by the man whose appearance was like brass standing in the gate. Every little chamber and doorway and arch and pillar and gate is thus recorded with care. That careful recording shows that true measure is everything, the very law of God brought into the least of acts and dealings.
The spiritual measure is God's measure of the person, making a true person through divine grace. Learning and living this measure elevates, ennobles, and sanctifies heart and affection, making people faithful in the least and loving God supremely and their neighbor as themselves. Through the power and grace brought by Jesus Christ, people build character after the divine model and prepare for glory, as the house of Israel is called to measure the pattern, be ashamed of iniquities, and live a righteous life in honest and faithful dealings under the law of the house, whose whole limit upon the top of the mountain is most holy.
