Ezekiel 40:45
And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house. And he said unto me, This chamber, whose prospect is toward the south, is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.
The south-facing chamber for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house, is one of the small chambers measured in the vision by the man with the appearance of brass who stands in the gate with a reed in his hand. It is measured and recorded together with every smallest feature of the building. Those features include the doorways and the arches and the pillars and the great gate facing east.
The exact measuring of even the least thing shows that the true measure is the law of God applied to the smallest of human acts and dealings. By learning and living that law, people are elevated and ennobled and sanctified in heart and affection. They are made faithful in the least and built up in character after the divine pattern through the power and grace that comes through Jesus Christ, and so prepared for the glory to be revealed. Loving God supremely and neighbor as self, and living righteously in honest, faithful dealings, forms the complete righteous stature and structure.
