Ezekiel 41:13
So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long; So he measured the house, an hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with the walls thereof, an hundred cubits long;
The hundred cubits of the house belongs to the larger measuring of Ezekiel 40-43, where a man with the appearance of brass stood in the gate with a measuring reed in his hand and measured the whole building. Nothing was left unnoted, but every least item was recorded, the little chambers and the doorways and the arches and the pillars, even to the great gate facing east.
That completeness shows that true measure is everything, for the measure is the very law of God brought into the least of human acts and dealings. Faithfulness in the least is therefore required, because the spiritual measure is God's measure of the person.
When the measuring was finished the glory of God entered, and the pattern was to be shown to Israel that they might be ashamed of their iniquities and measure themselves by the pattern. The law of the house upon the top of the mountain is most holy.
What is needed now is men and women whose characters and works measure life and things by God's exact measurement, loving God supremely and their neighbor as themselves. Such character is elevated and ennobled through divine grace, by the power and grace brought through Jesus Christ to build character after the divine model. A righteous life in honest, faithful dealing makes the whole righteous stature and structure.
