Ezekiel 41:23

And the temple and the sanctuary had two doors.

In Ezekiel's vision the house of God was measured throughout with complete exactness, and the two doors belonging to the temple and the sanctuary formed one least item within that measuring. A man whose appearance was like brass stood in the gate with a reed in his hand and measured the whole building. All the little chambers and doorways and arches and pillars were recorded according to that reed. The great gate toward the east was likewise recorded by the same measure.

That careful measuring even of the doors shows that true measure is everything. It is the very law of God brought into the least of human acts and dealings. Life, character, and works are therefore to be measured by God's exact measurement. This is done by being faithful in the least through honest and faithful dealing, so that character is built after the divine model in preparation for the glory to be revealed.
