Ezekiel 43:10
Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
The house with its measured pattern is to be shown to the house of Israel so that by seeing it they come to recognize their iniquities and be ashamed of them. The minuteness of the measurements makes God's exact measure a lesson for life, showing that His law takes in even the smallest acts and dealings. Measuring by that spiritual standard lays bare the falseness of human valuations. Honest, faithful dealing measured by that standard builds up a righteous life and character.
