Ezekiel 43:12
This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house. This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
God's house is revealed as a measured temple given as a pattern, with every part fixed by exact measurement and the whole area declared most holy. The law of the house is that upon the top of the mountain the entire limit round about is supremely sacred, so that holiness and right order are not confined to one spot but extend throughout the whole structure. That pattern was set before Israel in order that they might see their iniquities and measure themselves by God's exact standard. When applied to persons, that same divine measure reaches even to the smallest acts and dealings, and honest, faithful conduct builds a righteous character.
