Ezekiel 43:20

And thou shalt take of the blood thereof, and put it on the four horns of it, and on the four corners of the settle, and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou cleanse and purge it.

Ezekiel 43 belongs to a vision in which every part of God's house is measured with precision. That measured pattern of the house expresses God's law and holiness. Showing that pattern to Israel was meant to make them recognize their wrongdoing and be ashamed of it. That same exact divine measure applies to human character and conduct, so honest and faithful dealings make a person's life righteous.
