Ezekiel 44:9

Thus saith the Lord GOD; No stranger, uncircumcised in heart, nor uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any stranger that is among the children of Israel.

No stranger who remains uncircumcised in heart and in flesh is permitted to enter God's sanctuary. To bring such persons into the sanctuary pollutes it and breaks God's covenant. God's service is holy, and its charge must be kept faithfully.

Outward membership or profession does not qualify anyone for God's sanctuary, for those who claim to belong to God while remaining uncircumcised in heart and practice are reckoned with the uncircumcised and face destruction. To know Bible truth without practicing it is to fail to bring that truth into the inner life and to fail to use entrusted abilities in faithful service. No one can enter God's house merely by accepting the invitation, but must receive Christ's righteousness and live in it.
