Ezekiel 6:11
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
The verse is a lament over all the evil abominations of the house of Israel joined to a decree that they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. It expresses grief at their manifold sins while announcing their coming destruction. It shows that God holds people accountable for the evil they choose and vindicates His justice by bringing judgment for such abominations.
It means the Jewish nation stood condemned by God to destruction and left deserted by Him. This was fulfilled in the ruin of the holy city and temple and in the Roman overthrow of Judea ending at Masada. Then the high and fenced walls wherein they trusted came down, and their slain men lay upon every high hill.
