Ezekiel 7:14
They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
The verse belongs to the time of trouble, when judgments fall upon the land as sword and famine and pestilence with great confusion. The trumpet is blown to call the people to prepare and to make everything ready for battle. Yet none goes out to the battle, because wrath lies upon the whole multitude.
