Sheshbazzar brought up the full number of 5,400 vessels of gold and of silver from Babylon to Jerusalem together with those of the captivity who went up from exile. They were the vessels belonging to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem which Nebuchadnezzar had carried away. He had deposited them in the house of his gods. Cyrus gave them back out of Babylon to the exiles returning under his decree. They were restored for service in the house of the Lord to be rebuilt at Jerusalem.
