Cyrus Returns the Temple Vessels to Sheshbazzarby emmanuel_higgins

Ezra 1:7

Also Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of the LORD, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought forth out of Jerusalem, and had put them in the house of his gods;

Nebuchadnezzar had taken the vessels of the house of the Lord out of Jerusalem and put them in the house of his gods, in the temple of his gods in Babylon. Cyrus the king brought those same sacred vessels forth out of Babylon, returning what had been taken. He had them brought out and counted and entrusted to Sheshbazzar, the prince of Judah, for the return journey from Babylon. They were given back so they could be used again in the rebuilt temple, in the restoration of the Lord's house.
