The count lists thirty chargers of gold, a thousand chargers of silver, and twenty-nine knives as part of the inventory of temple vessels brought back from Babylon. They were among the goods that Nebuchadnezzar had taken away from Jerusalem. Cyrus thus restored them to the returning exiles and released them for use in rebuilding the temple.
