Ezra 2:58

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants, were three hundred ninety and two.

Ezra 2:58 belongs to the record of those who returned to Jerusalem with Zerubbabel in the first year of Cyrus in response to his decree or proclamation. It records that 392 Nethinim and descendants of Solomon's servants responded and went up to Jerusalem. The whole returning company numbered 42,360 people. The return is also described as nearly fifty thousand Jews going back to their land. The return ended the captivity in the sense that the people were free to go, though many remained in exile. Apart from the overall total, the specific figure of 392 is left without further explanation.
